• recognise the symptoms and signs of severe pre-eclampsia and eclampsia, and be able to interpret investigation results
• know the skills and drills required for the immediate resuscitative management of eclampsia
• understand the pharmaceutical and medical management of eclampsia
• know the serious complications of severe pre-eclampsia and eclampsia.
