Welcome to this Special Interest Training course on Cystic fibrosis.

When you have completed this course, you will be able to:

• have knowledge of the inheritance and pathophysiology of CF
• understand physiological changes in pregnancy and the effect that CF can have on pregnancy
• be aware of the importance of preconception care of patients diagnosed with CF
• recognise the need for a multidisciplinary approach in the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care of pregnant patients with CF.
