This course is part of the RCOG Core Knowledge series.
This course covers common, benign conditions of the vulva, and will help you assess and formulate a management plan.
When you have completed this course, you will be able to:
- assess a woman presenting with a vulval problem by taking a detailed history and examination, carrying out relevant investigations and initiating a management plan
- understand the current terminology of non-neoplastic epithelial vulval disorders
- be able to manage a woman presenting with a vulval pruritus and vulval lumps
- formulate a treatment strategy for a patient presenting with vulvodynia
- understand the multidisciplinary team approach to vulval problems.
