Talking about abortion can be complex. For various reasons, and in many different contexts, the topic of abortion is seen as sensitive. Opening up a conversation about abortion – the need to protect and respect reproductive health and rights, and to provide easier access to affordable SA/PAC – is therefore very important. When doing so, the words, phrases and terminology you use must be chosen carefully to ensure it is non-stigmatising, factual and accurate.
