Transferring to the new Training ePortfolio

Computer screen transferring files
All Trainees and educational supervisors have now been moved on to the new ePortfolio system.

Trainees

Trainees are now unable to access their ePortfolio account on the NES system, including historic training information. However, they will not need to access this as all of their information has been automatically transferred to the new ePortfolio (see example file outputs below):

  • PDF icon A single PDF for all curricula/logbook
  • PDF icon PDF of  forms per training year e.g. all workplace-based assessments, reflections, ARCP forms etc.

Dr Sarah Dix has produced a helpful guide for trainees on What to do after transferring to the new ePortfolio, which is available PDF icon here.

Educational supervisors

In May 2019, the RCOG produced a report of all trainers and Deanery administrators from the NES system, which included GMC number, email address and Deanery. This report was used to add these users to the new ePortfolio; they then received an email with their login details.

Read our guidance note for educational supervisors on PDF icon Engaging with trainees on the new Training ePortfolio.
